What I'm loving now: Tea accessories

I had to make a trip to the mall this weekend to troubleshoot a MacBookPro issue, so the family took a stroll around while we were waiting to get it fixed. We came across Teavana, a shop with teas I had seen in passing before, but never tried. We decided to try some samples, and I fell right down the rabbit hole...

By the end of the day, I bought some great teas, and my husband bought me a couple presents for my birthday: a Breville Tea Maker and a Teavana Contour Tumbler for my ride to work. I am thrilled with both of these purchases, and wanted to suggest them to you if you are in the market for such a thing.

The Breville Tea Maker provides up to 5 cups of loose leaf brewed tea. The great thing about it is that not only does it heat the water to the correct temperature for the type of tea you're using, but it drops the tea basket into the water as soon as the temperature is reached, steeps, then raises the basket at the end of steeping time. It's bliss.

To add to that experience, the Teavana Contour Tumbler serves both the purpose of an on-the-go loose leaf tea steeper and a tea (or coffee) travel mug. The steeping part is great, but it's the length of time that the tumbler keeps tea warm that really impressed me. I made a pot of tea at 5:30 this morning, and poured a tumbler-full. Put it in my car, and went back in to do some other stuff around the house. I drank some on the way to work, and finished my still-warm tea around 9am. That's pretty super in my book.

If you enjoy a good cup of tea, you might want to check into these!
